End July Right with the Fun in the Sun Community Event
If you want summer fun, it will be all around at Fun in the Sun. This community event will end the month of July with a bang.
Things to Do in Valley Forge: Get Ready for a Summer Extravaganza
Fun in the Sun will be held on July 29 at Heuser Park in King of Prussia. It starts at 2 p.m. and includes a concert kicking off at 6 p.m.
What to Expect
The event will feature a concert from The Dirty Dozen All-Star Band, an outfit of world-class musicians who have toured with some famous names, including Santana, Patty Smyth, Bon Jovi, and more.
Plus, there will be food, wine, a beer garden, a sports memorabilia auction, a kickball tournament, pony rides, badminton, volleyball, zoo animals, face painting, and rousing rounds of Bingo and cornhole.
Register for the Kickball Tournament
Register your co-ed team for the kickball tournament to see if you can kick your way to victory. Registration costs $50. There will be tourneys for each of these age brackets:
- 12 and under
- 16 and under
- 21 and under
- 21 to 40
- 40 and over
Individual tickets for the event are $5. If you have a family (or a “carload”), you can get a group ticket for $15.
All the event proceeds will benefit Upper Merion Parks & Recreation along with the PA Sports Hall of Fame.
